Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced that actress Margot Robbie will produce and star in an upcoming Oceans Eleven prequel. The spin-off, Ocean’s 8, introduced Danny Ocean’s (played by George Clooney) sister Debbie Ocean (played by Sandra Bullock). However, this prequel will be set in 1960s Europe.
Most likely Margot will be playing Danny and Debbie’s mother, which began their life of crime in the early 2000s. Bombshell director Jay Roach will reteam with Robbie on the film. With a screenplay by Carrie Solomon.
