Back in January, Deadline announced that actress Laura Donnelly had joined the cast of Marvel Studios Werewolf By Night Disney+ special. They admitted that her role is being kept under wraps but speculated she could be playing Vampire By Night. Now, The Cosmic Circus has revealed that the Outlander actress will actually play Elsa Bloodstone. She joins Gael Garcia Bernal in the lead role.

The fan-favorite monster hunter character has long been overdue to appear in live-action form. This would also mark yet another possible character to appear in the potential (and still unannounced) Midnight Sons project alongside Blade and Moon Knight. Production is currently underway in Atlanta with composer/director Michael Giacchino.

Werewolf By Night will stream exclusively on Disney+
