Today, IndieWire spoke to longtime producer Ed Pressman about his upcoming projects. The producer revealed he still plans on rebooting The Crow from 1994. “Ed and his partners expected to announce a new director and cast in the near future.” He adds “The Crow is a kind of anti-superhero, unique to the world of graphic novels,”

The reboot has gone through development hell for almost 3 decades since the passing of star Brandon Lee on set. A multitude of actors and directors have come and gone including Bradley Cooper, Tom Hiddleston, Jack Huston, Luke Evans, and Norman Reedus. However, Aquaman star Jason Momoa actually completed a screen test in 2018 for his version of Eric Draven alongside horror director Corin Hardy. However, all eventually left the project. It’ll be interesting who next boards the ill-fated reboot.
