Natasha Liu Bordizzo Joins the ‘Ahsoka’ Disney+ Series as Sabine Wren

Natasha Liu Bordizzo Sabine Wren Ahsoka

Earlier this summer, we have learned that Star Wars: Rebels fan-favorite character Sabine Wren will be making her live-action debut in Ahsoka on Disney+. A small shortlist of actresses were up for the role, including Tati Gabrielle and Lana Condor. We at Knight Edge Media had heard Tati Gabrielle was the frontrunner for the role, but an offer was still not made. However, Variety has revealed that Disney has pivoted from the original shortlist and cast Natasha Liu Bordizzo in the role. She is best known for her roles in The Greatest Showman and Netflix’s The Society. She joins Rosario Dawson and Hayden Christensen as they return as Ahsoka and Anakin respectfully. Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau return to write and produce the project. Production is expected to begin in March 2022.

Ahsoka will stream exclusively on Disney+ in 2023
