Amazon Studios Looking To Develop a ‘Mass Effect’ Live-Action TV Series

Amazon Studios recently debuted their fantasy epic series The Wheel of Time on the streaming platform. The series has become the number 1 series on the platform. And while Amazon looks to kickoff marketing for the Lord of the Rings. Their eyes have shifted towards a sci-fi epic series. According to Deadline, the studio is in a bidding war to acquire the rights to Mass Effect. The video game franchise developed by Bioware has long been rumored for the live-action treatment. The streaming platform doesn’t have a showrunner attached, but it would be developed as a live-action series.
