Jacob Scipio Joins DC Comics ‘Batgirl’ In Mystery Role

Today, Deadline announced Jacob Scipio has joined the cast of DC Comics’ upcoming Batgirl feature film. He re-teams with his Bad Boys For Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah as they helm the project. It’s unknown what role he will be playing in the spin-off Batman flick. The report also once again confirms J.K Simmons will be returning as Jim Gordon; with In The Heights breakout star Leslie Grace cast in the title role. The screenplay was written by Birds of prey and The Flash screenwriter Christina Hodson. Production is currently underway in Morocco..
