WB Moving Forward With ‘The Lost Boys’ Remake; Noah Jupe & Jaeden Martell Set To Star

Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Warner Brothers would remake the cult teen-vampire film The Lost Boys. The studio was going to make a CW series based on the film but has since canceled those plans. IT star Jaeden Martell, and The Quiet Place star Noah Jupe will star in the upcoming remake.

The original 1987 film had up-and-coming teen stars Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Alex Winter, plus Corey Feldman and Corey Haim. It follows two boys who move to a quiet California town and learn a goth vampire biker gang runs it. Static Shock screenwriter Randy McKinnon will pen the remake with Jonathan Entwistle on board to direct.
