night scaled

Earlier this month, DC Comics announced that an HBO Max series based on The Penguin had entered early development for the streaming service. The announcement marked yet another spin-off series set within Matt Reeve’s upcoming Batman universe after Gotham Central. Now Daniel Ritchman revealed on his Patreon that a Riddler project is also in early development. While the report doesn’t mention exactly where the project will land, it is assumed it will also be on HBO Max. It is also assumed that Paul Dano will return as the Gotham villain. However, that has yet to be announced. A long-standing rumor has been Catwoman (played by Zoë Kravitz) will also get her own series. That is unknown at this point…

The Riddler has no set release date.
