Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ Prequel Casts Aaron Pierre & Kelvin Harrison Jr. as Young Mufasa & Scar

Today, Variety announced that Oscar-winning director Barry Jenkins has found his young Mufassa and Scar. According to the report, OLD star Aaron Pierre and The Trial of the Chicago 7 star Kelvin Harrison Jr. will voice Mufassa and Scar in the upcoming prequel.

We at Knight Edge Media revealed back in February that the studio had begun searching for actors to take over the roles from James Earl Jones and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The film will once again be a realistic CGI film like the original 2019 film starring Donald Glover & Beyonce. It will tell the story of how Taka became Scar; second in line to the thrown from Mufassa.
