The film will bring back Return of the King co-scribe Philippa Boyens to consult on the film. It’s expected to be a prequel to Peter Jackson’s live-action saga. It’s unknown, however, if Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh will also help on the project, but it’s still a possibility. The voice cast will be revealed at a later date.
