Netflix’s ‘Resident Evil’ TV Series Adds Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker

Recently, Netflix announced a new live-action series based on the Resident Evil franchise is in the works at the streaming network. The action-horror video game franchise spawned several films starring Mila Jovovich. The new series will be eight 8-hour episodes and follow the release of the T-virus by the Umbrella Corporation.

It will star Lance Reddick (Fringe, John Wick) as Albert Wesker. Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, and Paola Nuñez also joined the cast but their characters are being kept under wraps. Andrew Dabb will serve as showrunner for Constantin Film.
