Jenna Ortega Cast as ‘Wednesday’ Addams in Netflix TV Series

Today, Deadline announced that You season 2 actress Jenna Ortega has been cast as the lead in Tim Burton’s Wednesday Addams TV Series.  The series will debut on Netflix and follow Wednesday Addams as she goes to bordering school. The casting of Ortega confirms our story from March that the streaming service was looking for Hispanic/Latino actors for the lead roles. It’s unknown who will play Wednesday Addams’s infamous parents Morticia & Gomez Addams. Production is expected to begin this July…
