Screenwriter Randy McKinnon Set To Pen DC Comics ‘Static Shock’

Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced that screenwriter Randy McKinnon has been hired to pen Static Shock for DC & Milestone Comics. McKinnon recently wrote Saftey for Disney+. Static is one of the few Milestone Comics characters who crossed covered to DC Comics in the 90’s. The character had his own animated series connected to Justice League Unlimited. As well as recently appearing in Young Justice. The live-action movie will be produced by Michael B. Jordan. No casting or director has been announced yet.
