Earlier this week, Murphy’s Multiverse revealed that Deadpool & Zombieland writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick will team-up for a Twisted Metal TV Series. The series is being produced by Sony Pictures TV and will feature Cobra Kai writer Michael Jonathan Smith showrunning the project.
The Illuminerdi also revealed that Will Arnett (Bojack Horseman, The Lego Batman) has been cast as Sweet Tooth in this high octane “race to the death” series. Arnett will also help produce the series. According to Variety, the deal has yet to be closed for Arnet. Asad Qizilbash, head of PlayStation Productions adds “We are thrilled to have such a great team working on bringing this iconic game to life for the fans.”
