Jodie Turner-Smith Boards Netflix’s ‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’ Prequel Series

Today, Deadline announced that Queen & Slim star Jodie Turner-Smith has joined Netflix’s The Witcher: Blood Origin prequel series. She will co-star alongside the male Witcher of the series that has yet to be cast. She will play Éile an elite female warrior with the voice of a goddess. The series will take place 1,200 years before the events of The Witcher starring Henry Cavill. The streaming platform was interested in Jason Momoa for the male lead late last year.
