DC Comics ‘Black Adam’ Adds Sarah Shahi as Isis

Today, Variety announced that Point of Interest and Sex/Life star Sarah Shahi has joined the cast of DC Comics Black Adam. The IllumiNerdi first mentioned the actress’s name last week that the studio has an interest. Sarah Shahi will play a university professor and freedom fighter leading the resistance in the fictional nation of Kahndaq. Her modern-day character will be possessed by the spirit of Isis in the film.

Dwayne Johnson will star as the tirle anti-Hero with Aldis Hodge playing Hawkman the leader of the Justice Socitey of America. Jungle Cruise director Jaume Collet-Serra is returning to reteam with Johnson on the film. Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions are producing the project alongside Johnson.
