Forest Whitaker & Ben Mendelsohn Return For ‘Star Wars: Andor’ Disney+ Series

Over the weekend Star Wars: Andor actor Stellan Skarsgard revealed on a local Swedish podcast he had recently completed filming several scenes with actor Forest Whitaker. The actor is best known for playing Saw Guerra in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Many sites tried getting the actor’s return verified but have since been revealed by Skarsgard himself. He will indeed return as the extreme rebel soldier against the Empire.

The Direct went onto revealed that Ben Mendelsohn will also be returning for the upcoming streaming series. He will return as Orson Krennic for the show before becoming Director. It’s unknown how big of the roles each actor will have in the series. However, it does show how closely the show will be connected to Rogue One. It’s unknown if Mads Mikkelsen will return as Galen Erso the famous Empire scientist before defecting.
