Today, a report announced that writers Todd Harthan and Todd Helbing have joined the Eragon reboot series on Disney+ as co-showrunners and producers. The Inheritance Cycle book series by author Christopher Paolini has been in development as a reboot TV show since 2022. Harthan is best known for writing the series High Potential, while Helbing has worked on The CW’s Superman & Lois. The Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb has also joined the series as an executive producer. A writer’s room was formed late last year and is still ongoing.
