Directors Lord & Miller Reteam With Channing Tatum on Untitled ‘Classic Monster’ Film For Universal

Recently, Deadline announced that Channing Tatum will star in an untitled Classic Monster film with his Jump Street co-directors Christopher Miller & Philip Lord (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs). It’s unknown which classic monster the trio will tackle for Universal Pictures but expected to be a tongue-in-cheek comedy, compared to Leigh Whannell’s ultra-serious Invisible Man film by Blumhouse.

It’s doubtful these films will be connected either. Some suggested that they bring back Jonah Hill for an Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein remake. But that is pure speculation at this point…

The Untitled Classic Monster Film has no set release date
