Over the weekend, Paramount Animation, along with Paramount Pictures, submitted a copyright submission for the upcoming animated movie Avatar: The Last Airbender. The submission includes much of the previously released information, including the movie date change to January 2026. It also lists the movie as being titled Lost Realm, as opposed to the previously released title Aang: The Last Airbender.

The submission also lists the already-announced voice cast Eric Nam (Transplant, Saturday Night Live Korea) will voice Aang; Jessica Matten (Dark Winds) will voice Katara; Román Zaragoza (Ghosts) will voice Sokka; and Dionne Quan (The Fairly OddParents, All Grown Up) as Toph. Surprisingly, it also lists Steven Yeun (Invincible, The Walking Dead) as part of the cast. Yeun previously voiced Avatar Wan (the first Avatar) in The Legend of Korra. So it would be interesting if Avatar Aang communs with Avatar Wan in the upcoming film before Korra does later on. While Yeun has not been announced for the film, it should still be treated as a rumor until further notice. It is also possible that Yeun is voicing an entirely new character with a significant role in the film.

Aang: The Last Airbender is currently slated to hit theaters on January 20th, 2026
