Earlier this year, a report said actress Kathryn Newton would return for Avengers: Doomsday as Cassie Lang. The studio confirmed this when the actress appeared in the trailer alongside her on-screen father, Paul Rudd, as Scott Lang. Now, a new expanded ScreenX trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has been released online. The scene where Scott and Cassie finally reunite and hug after the events of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania looks a lot like a dark apartment. The apartment is simply Scott Lang’s, or more accurately, Kate Bishop. Kate Bishop (played by Hailee Steinfeld) last appeared in the post-credit scene for The Marvels alongside Kamala Khan (played by Iman Vellani).
According to online rumors, Cassie Lang, Kate Bishop, and Ms. Marvel will appear in one scene for Avengers: Doomsday inside an apartment. Now, with the reveal that Scott and Cassie are inside an apartment in the ScreenX trailer, it is all but confirmed that the rumored scene was accurate. It wouldn’t be shocking if the three return for Avengers: Secret Wars in a larger capacity.
