Today, a report announced that actors Kevin J. O’Connor and Oded Fehr have finalized deals to appear in The Mummy sequel. Fehr is best known for his role as Ardeth Bay, the leader of the secret society of elite warriors known as the Medjai. O’Connor will seemingly return from the first film as the Foreign Legion’s Beni Gabor. Though he was buried alive by Imhotep in the first film, it’s unclear how he is still alive unless he is The Mummy in this story. Numan Acar (Young Sherlock, Spider-Man: Far From Home) has also joined the cast.
The Mummy will hit theaters on October 15th, 2027
