Today, a new report announced that Mexican-American actor Xolo Maridueña is set to reprise his role as Jaime Reyes in DC Studios’ Man of Tomorrow. The story was first published by DanielRPK and corroborated by Nexus Point News (via X). Maridueña appeared in 2024’s Blue Beetle spin-off film from the old DC Universe, but was always expected to return in Jame Gunn’s new universe, like John Cena as Peacemaker. He is also slated to voice the character in a Blue Beetle animated series. Maridueña is best known for his role in Netflix’s Cobra Kai and for appearing in the third season of One Piece. Man of Tomorrow is currently in production.
