DC Studios Remaking ‘V for Vendetta’ For HBO

DC Studios, along with HBO, is set to remake the classic comic V for Vendetta for television.

Today, a report announced that DC Studios, along with HBO, is set to remake the classic comic V for Vendetta. The Alan Moore comic was adapted into a feature film back in 2005, starring Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman. The series will debut on HBO and stream on HBO Max for new audiences and will be an “Elseworlds” story. Pete Jackson (not Peter), who is best known for writing Somewhere Boy, is set to write this upcoming remake series. James Gunn and Peter Safran will produce under DC Studios alongside  Ben Stephenson via Poison Pen and Leanne Klein of Wall to Wall Media
