Today, a report announced that a Superman spin-off TV series about Jimmy Olsen is officially in development. The project was rumored shortly after the movie’s release, following the discovery of a trademark filing. The series will once again star Skyler Gisondo as the Daily Planet photographer as he starts to investigate a slew of DC Comics villains like Gorilla Grodd. Dan Perrault and Tony Yacenda (American Vandal) are set to write and produce the series. James Gunn and Peter Safran will once again produce for DC Studios. This is currently titled DC Crime, but could change. Production begins next spring in Atlanta (via Nexus Point News).
