Today, a report has been rumored that Florence Pugh is set to reprise her role of Yelena Belova in Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This will mark her fifth appearance in the MCU after Black Widow, Hawkeye, and this year’s Thunderbolts. She will also appear in Avengers: Doomsday as the leader of The New Avengers. Ironically, Tom Holland fancast Yelena to appear in a future Spider-Man movie back when promoting Spider-Man: No Way Home. She joins the cast that includes Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Jon Bernthal as The Punisher, and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner. Production has been underway in Glasgow, Scotland, for the past month before moving to Pinewood Studios in London. None of the trades has yet confirmed the story.
