Over the weekend, IGN spoke with original show creators Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko about the upcoming animated movie, The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender. While they joke, they probably aren’t allowed to reveal Steven Yeun’s mysterious casting. They came out and just revealed that he will be replacing Dante Basco as Firelord Zuko.

This is pretty unsurprising given that the rest of the voice cast was already recast, including Eric Nam (Transplant, Saturday Night Live Korea) as Aang, Jessica Matten (Dark Winds) as Katara, Román Zaragoza (Ghosts) as Sokka, and Dionne Quan (The Fairly OddParents, All Grown Up) as Toph. Yeun is best known for voicing Mark Grayson on Prime Video’s award-winning animated series Invincible. He also voiced Avatar Wan in a small cameo appearance during The Legend of Korra season 2.
