Today, a report announced that Marvel Studios is courting director Jake Schreier to helm its highly anticipated X-Men reboot. The film has been developing for a year, and its script is by The Hunger Games scribe Michael Lesslie. Schreier had a meeting earlier this week for Marvel Studios. No deal is currently in place for the director. His take on the Thunderbolts used many more practical effects than other Marvel projects, which impressed the studio. This helped the film garner high praise from critics and fans alike. As well as currently sitting around 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Kevin Feige has a 10-year plan for the X-Men during The Mutant Saga following the events of The Multiverse Saga.

X-Men reboot has no set release date
