Today, a report announced that actress Carey Mulligan has joined the ever-growing cast of Netflix’s Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew. The report confirms that Daniel Craig is indeed in talks to star as Uncle Andrew, the uncle of the male hero, Digory Kirke. Mulligan will star as Digory’s sickly mother, Mabel Kirke, towards the novel’s beginning. The two children’s lead roles have yet to be announced. They join Emma Mackey as the White Witch and Meryl Streep as a gender-bent Aslan. Production begins later this summer in the UK.
