Today, a report announced that Legendary is courting Robert Pattinson for Dune 3 as the main villain (possibly Scytale). The film is an adaptation of the novel Dune: Messiah. Pattinson is expected to appear in The Odyssey for Christopher Nolan and Batman 2 for Matt Reeves. This will be the first time he teams with director Denis Villeneuve. Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, and Zendaya are all expected to return for the space opera. Austin Butler played the villain Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in Dune: Part 2 before dying in a duel. Production is scheduled to begin this summer.
