Today, a report announced that Netflix has put into development a live-action series based on Dungeons & Dragons. The series will be titled The Forgotten Realms and completely separate from the 2023 movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. It will join their other high fantasy series, The Witcher. After working on Stranger Things, producer Shawn Levy will develop the series under his 21 Laps production banner alongside Hasbro. Drew Crevello has been tapped to showrun the series and has already written the pilot episode.
