Today, a report announced that actors Scott Foley and Matthew Lillard will return for Scream 7. Foley originally played Roman Bridger in Scream 3, while Lillard played fan-favorite Stuart ‘Stu’ Macher in the original 1996 Scream movie. It’s unknown how either character will appear in the film, as Roman Bridger was seemingly shot in Scream 3, and Stu Macher was electrocuted both following their Ghostface killer reveals. Production is currently underway on the sequel with legacy actors Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox, as well as Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown, alongside newcomers Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace, Sam Rechner, Anna Camp, Joel McHale and Mark Consuelos.

Scream 7 hits theaters on Feb. 27th, 2026
