Today, a report announced that actress Kaitlyn Dever has joined the cast of the next Godzilla x Kong film. Dever will next be seen in The Last of Us season 2. She will be the franchise’s new human hero, as every few movies introduce a new set of humans. The next film will still focus on Godzilla and King Kong but will feature other major Titans. Director Grant Sputore is next to helm the franchise after Adam Wingard stepped away. Writer Dave Callaham still writes the screenplay.
