Today, a report revealed that production of the upcoming Green Lantern TV series will begin sometime in early 2025 in the UK. The report states that casting is currently underway for the lead roles of Hal Jordan and John Stewart. The studio is looking for a white actor between 43-49 years old and a black actor between 27-35 years old for Hal and John. This means Hal Jordan could have been a Lantern for a while and would have trained a younger John Stewart. Nathan Fillion is expected to appear in the show’s fan-favorite Lantern, Guy Gardner, after appearing in 2025’s Superman feature film. Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King will all shepherd the series into production.

Lanterns has no set release date
