20 Minutes Of ‘Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohhiram’ Shown At Annecy Film Festival

Today, Warner Brothers brought the first twenty minutes of the upcoming anime Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohhiram to the Annecy Film Festival. During the annual French animation festival, actor Andy Serkis appeared on stage to present the footage. A small clip from Peter Jackson was also shown, in which the longtime director of Lord of the Rings revealed that he is producing the anime alongside his co-writer Fran Walsh. While the footage was exclusive to those in attendance, several images of the art style used in the project were released online by director Kenji Kamiyana (Blade Runner: Black Lotus).
