Director Craig Gillespie Will Helm DC Studios ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’

Today, a report revealed that director Craig Gillespie will helm the upcoming Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow film. The movie is expected to be a spin-off of 2025’s Superman film starring David Corenswet. Milly Alcock will first appear in Superman before starring in her film. Gillespie is best known for directing several female-centric films like I, Tonya, starring Margot Robbie, and Cruella, starring Emma Stone. Ana Nogueira wrote the film based on the 2022 Tom King comic before beginning work on Teen Titans. Production is expected to begin later this year after the filming of Superman ends.
