Ubisoft Developing a ‘Watch Dogs’ Live-Action Movie with Actress Sophie Wilde

Today, it was announced that Ubisoft is working hard to develop a live-action movie based on their popular cyber vigilantism video game, Watch Dogs. This is another property Ubisoft has tried getting off the ground, including an Assassins Creed reboot and The Division, both at Netflix. The upcoming film will star Talk To Me breakout actress Sophie Wilde in the title role. French director Mathieu Turi will direct the film with an original screenplay by Christie LeBlanc. Yariv Milchan and Natalie Lehmann will produce under New Regency Pictures in partnership with Margaret Boykin for Ubisoft Film & Television. No production date or location has been revealed yet.
