Danny Phantom has been considered one of the most classic Nickelodeon properties of the early 2000’s. The series has been ranked up there simply on nostalgia alongside Avatar: The Last Airbender, Fairly Oddparents, and Spongebob. However, it has grown its own cult following over the last two decades since its premiere. Paramount Pictures has put a live-action theatrical film into early development, according to Daniel Ritchman’s Patreon.

Over the weekend, original series creator Butch Hartman has suggested to Comicbook.com that Spider-Man actor Tom Holland would be his choice as Danny, “Tom Holland, all the way. It’s got to be Tom Holland.” Unfortunately, Tom Holland has been stepping away from acting recently and is turning 28 later this year. It’s hard to see him play a teenage Danny Phantom in any capacity. No director or writer has been attached to the project.
