Nick Frost Joins Universal’s ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ Live-Action Movie

Today, actor Nick Frost is next to join the live-action adaptation of How To Train Your Dragon. Frost is best known for his comedy roles in the early 2000s with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. However, he recently appeared in Fighting with My Family. Frost will play Gobber the Belch, Stoick’s trusted advisor and friend. Gerard Butler returns to play Stoick alongside Mason Thames (The Black Phone) as Hiccup and Nico Parker (The Last of Us) as Astrid. Dean DeBlois returns from the original film to write and direct the live-action adaptation. Production begins later this year.

How To Train Your Dragon is slated to hit theaters June 13th, 2025
