Several new actresses have been attached for the recast role of Supergirl in the upcoming reboot of DC Universe. Actresses Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon), Emilia Jones (Locke & Key), and Meg Donnelly (voice of Supergirl in Legion of Superheroes) are all on the shortlist for the coveted role. We at Knight Edge Media revealed that Supergirl is expected to appear in Superman: Legacy before spinning off to her own film, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. This cameo was confirmed by Deadline’s report, which teased the character’s cameo. Casting will continue over the next month. Currently, screenwriter Ana Nogueira was hired to pen the spinoff. Sasha Calle played the role originally in last year’s The Flash.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow has no set release date
