Kate McKinnon, Jemaine Clement & Jennifer Coolidge All Join WB’s ‘Minecraft’ Movie

The ever-growing cast of the live-action adaption for Minecraft has expanded even further. Actors Kate McKinnon Jemaine Clement, and Jennifer Coolidge have joined the all-star cast recently. They join Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen. McKinnon is best known for her time on SNL but recently appeared in Barbie. At the same time, Coolidge is making a renaissance from her American Pie days to appear in the HBO series The White Lotus. Jared Hess is set to direct the film for Warner Brothers, with production starting in New Zealand.

Minecraft will hit theaters on April 4th, 2025
