Back in 2020, a report went out by Deadline that Warner Brothers wanted to reboot the classic film Frosty the Snowman. The report also mentioned the studio looking to cast Jason Momoa in the title role. Immediately, the actor debunked the story on Instagram, citing it was published in the trades as a diversion from the ongoing conflict between Justice League co-star Ray Fisher and the studio.

Daniel Ritchman has revealed on his Patreon that another snowman film is looking to be rebooted in the 1998 Christmas classic Jack Forst. The original movie starred Michael Keaton as a jazz musician who tragically dies and returns as a snowman to connect with his son. The report cites that the studio wanted Jason Momoa for this role but has since moved on, possibly looking at Dwayne Johnson. However, nobody has signed on in the title role. It’s possible the original 2020 story was about Jack Forst and not Frosty the Snowman. No writer or director has been announced for the project.
