Steve Lightfoot Boards Amazon’s ‘Spider-Man: Noir’ TV Series as Co-Showrunner

Today, Variety announced that Steve Lightfoot has joined the Amazon team behind the upcoming Spider-Man: Noir TV Series. Lightfoot joins Oren Uziel as co-showrunner and head writer on the project. He is best known for his time on Netflix’s The Punisher. The live-action project was originally announced back in February but will be set in its own 1930s universe separate from Peter Parker. Nicholas Cage voiced the character in the massively successful Into the Spider-Verse. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will produce the series alongside Amy Pascal.  There is currently no production date set for the series.
