Aryan Simhadri and Leah Sava Jeffries Join ‘Percy Jackson’ Disney+ Series as Grover and Annabeth

Today, Disney announced that actors Aryan Simhadri and Leah Sava Jeffries had joined the cast of the upcoming Percy Jackson reboot series. Original author and series co-writer Rick Rodian revealed the two on his official blog. Aryan Simhadri is best known for appearing in the rebooted Cheaper By The Dozen and will star as Grover Underwood. While Leah Sava Jeffries appeared on Empire and will star as Annabeth Chase. They join the previously announced Walker Scobell in the title role. In the original films, the characters were played by Alexandra Daddario and Brandon T Jackson. Black Sails writer Jon Steinberg will help co-write the project with James Bobin directing. Production begins this summer in Vancouver.
