Last year, Knight Edge Media revealed that Charlie Cox would return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Matt Murdock for several upcoming projects. He played the character for several seasons on Netflix before the streaming service canceled the show. Echo would possibly be one of the upcoming projects he would return for. He would return alongside his co-star Vincent D’Onofrio as The Kingpin and star Alaqua Cox in the title role.
Several weeks ago, Echo costume designer Stacy Caballero revealed on her official website that both Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio would indeed co-star in the upcoming series. With production on the series starting earlier this week, our friend Daniel Ritchman has revealed on his Patreon that Cox is expected to film his scenes towards the end of May. Since he will have a much more significant role in the show than his Spider-Man cameo, it’ll be interesting to see if Marvel will still keep it a secret.
