KJ Apa & Isabel May Suit Up As DC’s ‘Wonder Twins’ For HBO Max

Today, Deadline announced that actors KJ Apa and Isabel May have been tapped to star in the upcoming Wonder Twins film. KJ Apa is best known for his role as Archie on The CW’s Riverdale. While Isabel May has been seen on both Young Sheldon and most recently 1883. They star as the shape-shifting alien twins Zan and Jayna. The characters were first introduced in the 60’s cartoon series The All-New Super Friends Hour before officially being introduced into the DC Universe. Screenwriter Adam Sztykiel will make his directorial debut with the film. Production is set to begin this summer in Atlanta.
