Original ‘Wednesday Addams’ Actress Christina Ricci Joins Netflix Reboot

Today, Netflix announced that actress Christina Ricci has joined the cast of Wednesday Addams on Netflix. Ricci played the character in the 1990’s Addams Family movies. She will not be playing an alternate version of the character in the upcoming series. Her character is currently being kept under wraps according to Variety.

She joins Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams alongside Catharine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán as Morticia and Gomez Addams. Tim Burton will produce the 8-episode series and will also direct.
