Paramount Pictures Announces ‘Sonic 3’ and ‘Knuckles’ Spin-Off TV Series

Today, during Paramount’s Investor Day event, the studio announced that Sonic 3 is already in the works. The second film is expected to be released in April. The original film was one of the few 2020 films that were met with praise at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The studio also announced that a Knuckles spin-off TV Series is in the works for the Paramount+ streaming service. Idris Elba is expected to return to voice the character after his introduction in Sonic 2.
