Spider-Man: No Way Home is just around the corner, and many websites have begun their press junket on the film. Sean O’Connell of CinemaBlend sat down with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige and Sony producer Amy Pascal to speak about Daredevil actor Charlie Cox. When asked, Kevin Feige confirms that Charlie Cox will indeed play Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.”- Kevin Feige
While this is excellent news for the general audience that might not know but Charlie Cox has been rumored for the Spider-Man sequel for well over a year. This comes off the actor’s original series on Netflix was canceled by Marvel Television in 2018 following the announcement of the Disney+ shows. We at Knight Edge Media have had several articles regarding the actor’s return as a soft-rebooted Matt Murdock. Last month we revealed that the actor is expected to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home before appearing in Echo and She-Hulk in 2022. A long-rumored rebooted Daredevil project (unknown if it’s a film or series) has also been discussed in recent months. At the very least we know now that Charlie Cox is Daredevil once again.
