Ron Livingston Replaces Billy Crudup in ‘The Flash’ Movie; Saoirse-Monica Jackson & Rudy Mancuso Also Join

Livingston Crudup Flash Banner1

Today, Variety announced that The Conjuring star Ron Livingston would be joining the cast of The Flash movie. He will replace Billy Crudup as Henry Allen opposite Ezra Miller as Barry Allen. Crudup unfortunately had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. Crudup was praised for his limited screentime of Henry Allen in both 2017’s Justice League and Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

The report goes onto state that Ian Loh joins the cast as young Barry Allen. As well as Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Rudy Mancuso rounding out the cast in unknown roles. It’s very possible they will be playing the villains of the film. This could include Golden Glider and Captain Cold but that’s speculation.

Another fan theory that has been circulating is Saoirse-Monica Jackson could be playing a gender-swapped version of Reverse-Flash. Reverse Flash is the one in the original Flashpoint comic that kills Barry Allen’s mother. The character has yet to be revealed to be appearing in the upcoming film based on that comic. Andy Muschietti will direct the project. Which include both Ben Affleck and Micheal Keaton as alternate earth Batman’s.

The Flash will hit theaters Nov. 4, 2022
